CARE YOU
DESERVE.

Nashville CARES offers a unique combination of services, resources and referrals. Many are tailored specifically to help people living with HIV and their families, but you don’t have to be HIV+ to benefit from CARES. Most services are based on need, regardless of ability to pay.

Living With HIV

We offer a safe, welcoming and affirming space for people infected and affected by HIV. This includes rapid HIV testing and antiretroviral treatment, as well as continuing HIV treatment for those transferring from another care provider. We also provide a wide range of related support services designed to assist those living with HIV.

Advocacy & Research

We work in cooperation with the Tennessee Department of Health’s HIV/STD Services Section to ensure a coordinated, compassionate and cost-effective response to HIV across our communities. Our mission is to improve awareness among policymakers and the broader public about HIV as a continuing public health priority, within our state and beyond.

The ongoing goal is to preserve, expand and strengthen the safety net of HIV prevention, care, treatment and support for our fellow citizens – all of them.
